
I have a few beauty secrets and I would like to share them with you. They are not only simple and easy they will have you feeling fabulous in just about one week- curious? Let’s get started! Follow each of the below steps this week and see how you are feeling by Day 7. I use some of these healthy tasks with my own clients in personal coaching programs and they are so easy to do. Best thing is that they only take a few minutes so there is no excuse not to give them a try.
Sunday: Everyday this week, awake about 15 minutes early than normal and begin your day by drinking 6 oz. of hot lemon water. While drinking your cleansing morning treat, journal down 5 things you are grateful for in your life.
Monday: Beat the Monday blues by treating your self to a detoxifying body scrub using a dry body brush. …don’t forget your hot lemon water and gratitude journal!
Tuesday: Fill the basin of your sink with hot water and a few drops of peppermint oil (if doing this in the morning) Note: use lavender oil if doing this at night. Dip a clean washcloth into the basin, squeeze excess water out and place on your face. Rest in a quite, flat position for 5 minutes. Add a hot water bottle into the mix and lay with it on your belly to enhance relaxation affects.
Wednesday: In a blender, take 2 fresh carrots ½ TBSP olive oil, along with a few drops of lavender oil – add about ¼ cup fresh water and blend. Apply this mixture to your face and store any excess refrigerated in a sealed jar for the rest of the week- wash off mixture with warm water after 5-10 minutes.
Thursday: Coconut oil is not only an amazing oil to cook with, but excellent for skincare as well! Take 2 TBSP of organic coconut oil and apply on your heels, elbows and ends of your hair Allow the oil to soak in for 5-10 minutes, rinsing well in the shower.
Friday: Go the to the supermarket after work and stock up on some fresh smoothie ingredients for the weekend. Make sure to buy some fresh kale, organic strawberries and any other delicious fruits you may enjoy. Prepare your smoothie ingredients in advance, washing and cutting anything you may need to save time.
Saturday: Make a deliciously fresh fruit smoothie, sit back and think of how easy it was to implement the changes you have in just 7 days.
